IPNEWS: The Liberia National Police (LNP) in Saclepea City, Nimba County, has arrested a 26-year-old man for allegedly raping and abusing two chickens in the Yeeganpa Community, Nimba County.
According to reports, the suspect, believed to be a resident of the community, was apprehended following an incident that reportedly occurred at Kpallah Junction in Saclepea. The matter drew public attention after residents raised concerns over the alleged act.
Community elder, Mr. Prince Quie, is said to have alerted local authorities after being informed about the situation, leading to the swift intervention of officers of the LNP Saclepea detachment.
Police authorities confirmed that the suspect’s identity is being withheld pending ongoing investigation. He is currently in police custody undergoing questioning in connection with the alleged offense.
Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police says investigations are continuing, and the suspect will be forwarded to court if sufficient evidence is established.
