In a powerful address to staff of the LCEA, the newly installed head of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Deputy Commissioner Fitzgerald Biago, issued a stark warning to both corrupt officers and drug traffickers.
Declaring a new era of zero tolerance, Biago promised to immediately purge the agency of any personnel who undermine the fight against illicit drugs. โThere will be no room for saboteurs within our ranks,โ he stated firmly during his takeover ceremony at the LDEA headquarters.
Vowing to dismantle criminal networks with full force, the new commander emphasized that his leadership will enforce the law without fear or favor. He pledged to protect Liberia’s youth from the narcotics scourge and restore discipline and integrity to the agency, signaling a tough battle ahead for enablers of the drug trade.
