IPNEWS: The Supreme Court of Liberia has, in its ruling delivered Thursday, August 27, 2026, affirmed the judgment of the First Judicial Circuit, Criminal Court “C,” against Enree Bee Neeplo for the crime of Economic Sabotage.
In its ruling, the Supreme Court affirmed the Economic Sabotage conviction and ordered Ms. Neeplo to pay a fine of US$10,000.00 (Ten Thousand United States Dollars).
The Court ordered that the fine be paid within sixty (60) days from today’s ruling. Failure to pay the fine within the period set by the Court will result in imprisonment for ten (10) years.
The Supreme Court has further directed that its Mandate be sent to the court below for the enforcement of the judgment.
The LACC takes note of the Supreme Court’s ruling and remains committed to carrying out its mandate to investigate and prosecute acts of corruption and corruption-related offenses in keeping with the laws of Liberia.
The Commission continues to encourage accountability and responsible management of resources entrusted to public and private institutions.
