Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon is proposing a specialized court dedicated to the prosecution of drug-related offenses across the country.
    ‎
‎Senator Dillon argued that the existing court system is heavily burdened with wide range of cases, leading to significant delays in prosecuting drug offenses.
    ‎
‎He added that such delays undermine the fight against the rising drug crisis in the country.
    ‎
‎The Montserrado County senator vowed to submit a bill at the Legislature seeking an amendment to the law that would empower Criminal Court “D” to handle all drug-related cases exclusively.
    ‎
‎He believed the reform would fast-track hearings and judgments, ensuring justice and more effective deterrence against drug crimes
