IPNEWS: Destiny Hands International, in collaboration with Abide in the Vine Fellowship and other international and local partners, successfully hosted the Pastors Appreciation & Training Conference (PAT) in Liberia.

The conference aimed to recognize and honor pastors for their unwavering dedication to ministry, while equipping them with essential training resources. The appreciation segment acknowledged pastors who have devoted their lives to serving God, offering them encouragement and motivation to continue spreading the message of Christ.

As part of the training initiative, approximately 50 pastors participated in the SmartBox Computer Lab and Resources Training, receiving certificates upon completion. The program sought to enhance their technological skills and equip them with modern tools to support their ministry’s efforts.

The conference focused on three key objectives: They include encouraging pastors to remain steadfast in their divine calling; providing access to training and empowerment opportunities, including computer literacy and holistic ministry programs facilitated by BETECH, D4G, and Link Aid and equipping pastors with resources to strengthen and expand their ministry work.

A highlight of the event was a special awards ceremony honoring distinguished religious leaders. Apostle James M. Bimba, Rev. Dr. Edwin A. Gbally, and Archbishop Isaac Winker Sr. received the prestigious Lifetime Ministry Award for their outstanding contributions to the Christian faith. Additionally, 22 church leaders were recognized for their service during a special appreciation dinner.

The conference was hosted by Bishop Robert S. M. Bimba, Overseer of Abide in the Vine Fellowship and President of Destined for Greatness Global. Benjamin S. Kettor, President & CEO of Destiny Hands International USA, co-hosted the event, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to supporting and uplifting pastors.

Speaking at the event, Bishop Robert Bimba emphasized the importance of modern advancements in ministry.

“We are in the 21st century, an age of technology. While congregations continue to grow, pastors must also evolve to prevent any disconnect. This initiative is an answer to prayers,” he stated.

The conference also marked the highly anticipated launch of the SmartBox, a revolutionary tool designed to transform ministry’s work. While specific details about the SmartBox remain undisclosed, attendees eagerly awaited its unveiling, recognizing its potential impact on pastoral leadership.

The gathering also provided a platform for networking, partnership-building, and ministry development. In a show of support, Madam McDella Cooper, Political Advisor to the President of Liberia, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working with the Church.

“The Church plays a vital role in leadership and governance,” she noted, praising the conference organizers for their contributions to the country.

The event concluded with a message of peace from Bishop Bimba, who encouraged attendees to embrace the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow in their faith.

“Those who come in peace are truly welcomed,” he reminded the audience, citing biblical teachings.

The Pastor Appreciation & Training Conference served as a pivotal moment for empowering church leaders with innovative solutions to meet the demands of a changing world. Organizers hailed the event as a major success, reinforcing the importance of equipping pastors with the knowledge and resources needed to strengthen their ministries.
