The Elections Committee of the Publishers Association of Liberia has officially recognized and certificated winners from the July 31st, 2025 elections leading to the subsequent induction of a new leadership of the Association.

At the formal certification ceremony on Monday, August 4, 2025, the Chairman of the Elections Committee of PAL, Carlton Boah urged the newly certificated individuals to put into motion their vision for the Publishers Association of Liberia to ensuring a more effective and efficient Association.

The Certificate of Election from the Elections Committee signifies the authority of the elected officials and demonstrates that they were duly elected by the membership of the Publishers Association of Liberia through a free, fair and transparent electoral process.

It can be recalled, the outgoing President of the Association, Othello Garblah of the New Dawn Newspaper constituted an election committee to conduct the election of a new leadership of PAL.

Those recognized and certificated are Alphonso Toweh, President, Bai S. Best, Vice President, Winnie Saywah Jimmy, Secretary General and Chester A. Smith, Financial Secretary.

The Elections Committee has officially written the President of the Association informing him about the results and outcome of the July 31, 2025 elections.
