The Consortium of Liberian Educators in the Americas (CLEA) today announced the hosting of a crucial one-day prescriptive virtual conference titled, “Strengthening Public Education in Liberia: Bridging Distance, Unveiling Opportunities.” The conference aims to bring together educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to address critical challenges and explore innovative solutions for the advancement of public education in Liberia.
The virtual event will take place on Friday, July 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) / 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), accessible via Zoom. Education stakeholders, including media partners, can access the conference at www.eddein.com/conference
“The future of Liberia hinges on the strength of its public education system,” said Dr. Williams, a member of the Organizing Team. “This conference provides a vital platform for robust dialogue and the collaborative development of prescriptive solutions that can genuinely transform educational outcomes across the nation, especially as we look to bridge geographical distances through technology.”
The conference agenda will feature discussions on leveraging technology for remote learning, innovative curriculum development, teacher training initiatives, and strategies for fostering sustainable educational partnerships. Participants will engage in sessions designed to identify actionable opportunities for enhancing access, quality, and equity in Liberian public education.
