    Bishop Joseph Gardea Johnson lll Honored as Liberia’s  Humanitarian and Integrity Clerical Icon.

    In a grand ceremony held at the Restoration Baptist Ministry on Allison Street  Old Road, the Journalistic Bureau of Investigation (JBI) awarded Bishop Joseph Gardea Johnson the prestigious title, “Liberia’s Humanitarian and Integrity Clerical Icon of the years 2024-2025”. The event, attended by dignitaries, clergy, and prominent citizens, celebrated Bishop Johnson’s tireless dedication to humanitarian work and his unwavering commitment to upholding the values of integrity and compassion.

    According to the JBI, Bishop Johnson was chosen for his outstanding contributions to the Liberian people, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and social welfare.

     Through his various initiatives, he has positively impacted countless lives, providing support to the most vulnerable members of society, including the poor, the elderly, and children.”Bishop Johnson’s selfless service to humanity is a shining example of what it means to live a life of purpose and dedication,” said JBI Director, Mr. Prince Nagbe. “His unwavering commitment to promoting the values of integrity, compassion, and kindness has earned him a revered place in the hearts of Liberians.”Bishop Johnson, a renowned clergyman and humanitarian, has been actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors in Liberia for over two decades. He is the founder of the Johnson Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing educational and healthcare services to underserved communities.One of his notable initiatives is the establishment of the Bishop Johnson Memorial School, a free educational institution that provides access to quality education for disadvantaged children. He has also launched several healthcare programs, including mobile clinics and medical missions, which have provided critical medical care to thousands of Liberians.

    The ceremony, which was attended by Clergies and  high-ranking government officials, was a testament to Bishop Johnson’s impact on the nation. In her remarks, Madam Comfort Howard, an activist praised Bishop Johnson for his dedication to the Liberian people and his unwavering commitment to promoting the values of integrity and compassion.”Bishop Johnson’s contributions to our nation are a reminder that true leadership is not about seeking power or prestige, but about serving others with humility and kindness,” Madam Howard said. Bishop Johnson, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude to the JBI and the Liberian people for the honor. He dedicated the award to the countless individuals who have benefited from his humanitarian work and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his service to the nation.
