IPNEWS: The Monrovia City Corporation has introduced five modern police booths across the city to combat illegal waste disposal and enforce city ordinances.

Deployed on December 30, 2024, by Mayor Hon. John-Charuk Siafa and senior officers, these booths are equipped with solar lights and security cameras, providing a space for at least eight officers.

MCC says their strategic placement at major intersections aims to enhance law enforcement visibility, deter crime, and maintain public safety.

Additionally, the booths will function as satellite offices, fostering a modernized work environment for the police.
