    UNHCR-LRRRC Conduct capacity Building Training for LRRRC Personnel for Refugees & Displace Persons Protection

    The LRRRC in partnership with UNHCR will on today Monday (Aug 18-22, 2025) begin a 5-day capacity-building training designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of LRRRC personnel dedicated to the protection of refugees and displaced persons. This initiative according to a LRRC statement is known as the ‘UNHCR ProGress V4 Training’. It is held at the Cape Hotel, Mamba Point, Monrovia.

    “This training zeroes in on essential areas such as international protection principles, operational procedures, data management, and standardized practices that align with UNHCR guidelines.

    Upon completion of this training, 26 LRRRC protection staff will be fully equipped to effectively address the rights and needs of refugees and asylum seekers with confidence and competence.” A LRRRC statement noted
