The Golden Image Awards (GIA) is an annual national meritorious platform in Liberia founded and launched by Ambassador Queen Juli Endee
Amb. Queen Juli Endee,is the Executive Director of the [Liberia Crusaders for Peace (LCP)
The event was first established in September 2010, with its inaugural awards ceremony taking place in 2011.
To recognize and reward local and international leaders, change-makers, and philanthropists who make significant contributions to peace, development, reconciliation, and humanitarian work in Liberia.
The event serves as a major fixture of Liberia’s Independence Day celebrations each July.
This years’ edition successfully marked its 16th edition. Other ceremonies are expected to take place ahead of this year’s edition.
The previous 15th edition saw Amb. Endee and the GIA National Secretariat hosted a final official pickup event for distinguished awardees at the Liberia Crusaders for Peace Headquarters in Monrovia. The event continued with cultural performances under the theme of ‘national healing and reconciliation’.
