IPNEWS: Silver Automobile Ltd., the sole importer and distributor of Bajaj automobiles in Liberia, extended a gesture of goodwill to the country’s security sector, specifically the Liberia National Police (LNP), during the festive season to support and enhance national security operations.

On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the management of Silver Automobile, led by Mr. Firdous Ahmad, presented several 25kg bags of rice and four motorbikes to the LNP at their headquarters in Monrovia.

During the presentation, Mr. Ahmad expressed that the donation was a way of identifying with the police force and that the company would continue to provide support as needed.

“It is also part of our Corporate Social Responsibility,” Mr. Ahmad said.

In response, Inspector General of the Liberia National Police, Col. Gregory Coleman, expressed gratitude on behalf of the LNP, thanking Silver Automobile for the generous donation. He assured the company that the items would be put to good use in advancing the police force’s operations.

“We highly appreciate and welcome the partnership with Bajaj as we continue to strive for the safety of every single Liberian,” Col. Coleman stated.

He further encouraged Silver Automobile to consider supporting training initiatives for motorcyclists and promoting road safety awareness.

The donated items were handed over to the Road and Safety Department of the LNP for immediate use in enhancing their operations.
