    IPNEWS: One of those accused of stealing and selling 11 vehicles that when missing at the National Public Health Institute of Liberia has field before the sixth judicial circuit court a wrt of Libel and slander against the Director General of NPHIL , His Deputies and the head of Human Resources.

    In writ seen by the authoritative Independent Peobe, Mr. Nowolo prayed that Dr. Nyan answer to the charge of damages for Libel and slander when he mentioned his name among twn others dismissed send suspended staff of he NPHIL INVOLVED in a collusion of vehicle thief that saw the disappearance of 11 vehicles assigned to the National Public Health Institute.

    Mr.  Sumo Nowolo, was recommended by an Investigation Committee setup to probe circumstances that led to the disappearance of 11 vehicles. The committee recommended to President Joseph Boakai for the termination of the Deputy Director General for Administration, Dr. Adams K. Lincoln for his role in masterminding the unlawful removal and illegal disposal of the NPHIL vehicles as well as fraudulently creating fake General Service Agency (GSA) documents so as to take personal ownership of an NPHIL vehicle.

    “Corruption will have no place at the NPHIL under my watch as this may undermine the progress we are making here,” Dr. Nyan said, adding that we will strive to maintain the integrity and standards of the NPHIL.

    The NPHIL has turned the terminated employees over to the Justice Ministry for further action in the restitution of these NPHIL government properties.

    “I strongly call on the NPHIL Board of Directors and the Ministry of Justice to support these patriotic actions of the NPHIL leadership in stamping out corruption, protecting the integrity of our institution, and furthering the country’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development,” Dr. Nyan emphasized.

    Meanwhile Dr. Nyan and his deputies, concluding the HR MANGER are to appear before Hudge Kenedy Peabody, resident Judge of the sixth judicial circuit court on January 23at 10:00A.M.
