IPNEWS: The House of Representatives has mandated its Committees on Education & Public Administration, Ways, Means and Finance, and Judiciary to review a draft bill seeking the creation of a Technical and Vocational Institution in Sinoe County.

The decision of Plenary was triggered by the submission of the draft legislation by Sinoe County Electoral District #3, Representative Hon. Alex S. Noah.

The proposed legislation, titled “An Act to Establish the Juarzon Vocational and Technical College”, seeks to expand access to technical and vocational education in Sinoe County, with the aim of enhancing skills development, employment opportunities, and human capacity building for young people and citizens of the county.

Following preliminary consideration, Plenary mandated the relevant committees to thoroughly review the bill and submit a consolidated report with recommendations to the House for further legislative action.
