IPNEWS: Grand Bassa County Superintendent, Karyou Johnson, alongside his Deputies, recently appeared at the Harlandsville Intellectual Forum in Buchanan where he highlighted several key accomplishments recorded under his administration since assuming office.
Superintendent Johnson used the platform to outline ongoing and completed development initiatives aimed at strengthening governance infrastructure and improving public services across the county.
Among the major projects cited were the renovation of the Grand Bassa County Administrative Building and the reconditioning of the Superintendent’s Compound, both intended to enhance the working environment for public servants and improve service delivery.
He further named the construction of the Boulevard Park and the Harmonville Administrative Building as part of efforts to expand administrative presence and provide recreational and civic spaces for residents.
In the judicial sector, the Superintendent referenced the construction of the Edina City Magisterial Court, describing it as a significant step toward improving access to justice at the local level.
Education also featured prominently in the presentation, Superintendent Johnson listing the construction of the J.J. Cheeseman Elementary and Junior High School, as well as the ongoing construction of a modern senior high school in the Own-Your-Own Community.
According to him, these projects reflect the administration’s commitment to creating a conducive learning environment for children and youth across Grand Bassa County.
Officials in attendance at the forum included Moses G. Henry, Development Officer; James Duen, Administrative Officer; and Paul Piah, Finance Officer, all of whom reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and inclusive development.
The Harlandsville Intellectual Forum brought together citizens, intellectuals, and community leaders, providing an opportunity for dialogue and reflection on governance and development issues affecting Grand Bassa County.
