IPNEWS: Former Bomi County Senator Sando Johnson has thrown his support behind Liberia Traffic Management Incorporated (LTMI) in its role of managing the issuance of vehicle license plates in Liberia.
Speaking in an interview with this station, Senator Johnson said LTMI has met all the necessary requirements to take over the production and issuance of license plates under its agreement with the Liberian Government.
According to the former lawmaker, the company should be allowed to carry out its responsibilities without interference, provided it operates within the terms of its contractual obligations.
Johnson acknowledged that some Liberians have raised concerns about the quality of the license plates being issued by the company. However, he maintained that such concerns should not be used as a basis to prevent LTMI from conducting its business in the country.
He emphasized that while citizens have the right to question and scrutinize the quality of services provided, any grievances should be addressed through the appropriate channels rather than obstructing the company’s operations.
The former senator’s comments come amid ongoing public debate surrounding LTMI’s management of Liberia’s vehicle license plate system.
