LIBERIA: Supreme Court Summons Prophet Key Today

The Supreme Court of Liberia has summoned Justin Oldpa Yeazehn, popularly known as Prophet Key, to appear before its Full Bench on today February 10, 2026.

Prophet key is summoned on allegations of contempt of court stemming from continuous public attacks and accusations of corruption directed at Chief Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay, the Supreme Court, and other justices.

The court states that Yeazehn’s actions have subjected Liberia’s highest judicial body to public ridicule and disrepute.

If held in contempt, he could face penalties including fines or imprisonment.

He is ordered to report to the Temple of Justice in Monrovia at 3 p.m..

In 2025, the National Elections Commission (NEC) disqualified Yeazehn from the Nimba County by-election for allegedly submitting a fake voter registration card.

It may be recalled, in February 2024, he was arrested following a lawsuit filed by Cultural Ambassador Julie Endee for criminal coercion and harassment, though those charges were later dismissed by the Monrovia City Court.
