IPNEWS: The Liberia National Police – LNP had issued a Statement on Ben Town Tragedy
The Liberia National Police is actively investigating a deeply disturbing incident that occurred on June 20, 2025, in Ben Town, Marshall Road, Margibi County.
The victim, identified as Madam Sianneh Goe Ricks, a 45-year-old Liberian-Canadian and resident of Ben Town, was found deceased in her room and tragically burned beyond recognition. Due to the condition of the remains, she has since been interred.
At this time, five individuals have been identified as persons of interest and are under active investigation.

However, the authoritative Independent Probe investigation into the mysterious death of madam Risks, revealed that the LNP intervene nearly 18 hours after the inc9ident occurred sparking fear among residents and other disposal Liberians over safety concerns.
IPNEWS gathered that following the mysterious death of Madam Risks, the MAARSHALL police detachment was duly alerted by residents but to no avail until late after Wednesday when officers of the LNP arrived to conduct investigation into the mysterious death.
Eyewitnesses tell IPNEWS investigative Reporter that the situation has sparked fear among residents at night and are calling on the LNP to increase its foot patrol in the Marshall community are there were increase in crimes in the area.
