President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, commissioned Ambassador Amara Sackor as Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony, held at the Executive Mansion in Monrovia, marks a significant step in strengthening diplomatic ties between Liberia and Saudi Arabia.

In his remarks, President Boakai emphasized the importance of fostering bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia, particularly in areas of economic cooperation, trade, education, and investment. He urged Ambassador Sackor to work diligently in advancing Liberia’s interests and deepening the partnership between both nations.

“Strengthening our diplomatic and economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia remains a key priority,” President Boakai stated.

Ambassador Sackor, in his acceptance remarks, expressed gratitude to President Boakai and the Liberian Government for the trust bestowed upon him. He pledged to serve with dedication and to work towards enhancing Liberia’s presence and engagement in Saudi Arabia.
