Theyโre revising history to tarnish a harsh critic of an administration that lied its way to power and seeing the country plunge into chaos. Their flawed policies, illegal acts and undemocratic tendencies have resulted into division and inferno at the nationโs capitol.
Iโm alive and kicking. I will debunk their lies. I was only 26 years old.
This picture of me and Doe is a proud moment. Doe was a brave 28 year old soldier and 16 of his comrades in arms overthrew 133 years of a tyrannical government. That government sold native boys into slavery. Go read Bitter Canaan by Charles Spurgeon Johnson. Johnson is the grandfather of Jeh Johnson former Homeland Security Secretary. Named after a Grebo Chief. Johnson writes that 75 Kru Chiefs were executed in 1915 upon order of President Daniel E. Howard. In 1955 the Tyrannical True Whig Party hatched a plot to destroy the only opposition to their rule by summary killings. Made people like Tuan Wreh eat their own feces. That was the last opposition in Liberia until after the coup in 1980!
The True Whig Party was a terrible organization. They were financed by the state treasury. We have vouchers of millions paid by the state to the party. They also took one month salary out of the year for all civil servants to finance the True Whig Party.
They made laws for old men to sleep with 13 year old girls. They kept the wealth of the country to themselves. Go read Growth without Development.
It was under these conditions that Samuel Doe and the PRC came to power. Remember these were mostly uneducated young soldier boys. In whose army? The True Whig Government. Remember also we as progressives sought to organize a political party to oppose the tyrannical regime. Thatโs why we we were in prison when the young soldiers said enough is enough.
This picture was taken hours after the coup. I was there with others to bring stability and order to the chaos that would follow such dramatic change. Iโm proud of my role.
No one told Doe to kill anyone. The 13 persons executed by the PRC were tried by a tribunal of senior ranking army officers of the Liberian government. Colonel Frank Senkpeni was the head of the tribunal. Pictured here.
If you think Iโm lying go read the full TRC Report and listen to the testimonies. I testified too. No one ever accused me of being part of killing anyone. This is a lie by Unity Partisans short of ideas and suffering under my barrage of criticisms from their failing government. Asset Recovery. 285 machines. 4 billion refinery. Maintaining Medtech and CTN after saying they would cancel them. Illegal dismissals of civil servants. Illegal attempts to remove a sitting speaker of the house. For these reasons they attack me, my wife, my inheritance and my health. Be not deceived. Iโm a fighter. I will wrestle a pig in the mud.
