IPNEWS: Former Liberian President George Manneh Weah has addressed public speculation about his health, dismissing the rumors and stating that he is a “natural man”.
Weah’s comments follow online discussions and social media posts following CDC Headquarters groundbreaking ceremony, that questioned his physical appearance in recent photos.
Weah posted his remarks on his verified WhatsApp page on October 20, 2025.
“This is natural”.
“You guys can say all you want to say about me. But be reminded that I don’t use make up to hide my face. I am a natural man”.
His statement addressed debates suggesting a health condition.

The ruling Unity Party’s Secretary General, Amos Tweh, cautioned against judging Weah’s health based on his physical appearance.
Tweh urged party members to support the current President, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, instead of speculating on Weah’s health.
