Guangzhou, China – In a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, the Liberian Business Association in China (LIBAC) officially welcomed Mr. Chaffice Bassar and his wife from the United States during an informal gathering. The occasion, marked by laughter, saw members of the association sharing drinks and warm conversations around a round table – a fitting symbol of unity and friendship.

    A Toast to New Beginnings:
The Vice Chairman of the LIBAC led the official welcome in consultation with Chairman Boima Fahnbulleh, presenting Mr. Bassar with a one-liter bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey as a token of hospitality and goodwill.

    A Heartfelt Welcome:

The Vice Chairman of the LIBAC led the official welcome in a closed consultation with Chairman Boima Fahnbulleh. Speaking on behalf of the association, he extended warm hospitality to the visiting couple:

“On behalf of the Liberian Business Association in China and as Vice Chairman of this noble association, we would like to welcome you to China. Feel free and believe that you’re home. Once again, we just want to use this occasion to officially welcome you and your gracious wife to the People’s Republic of China.” – Bro. Lee, vice chairman (LIBAC)

Mr. Bassar, visibly moved by the unexpected reception, expressed his gratitude:

“This is a business trip, and I didn’t think I would be received like this. I thought I would be on my own. I’m very excited that I am in the hands of family.” – Mr. Chaffice Bassar

Strengthening Liberia-China Trade Ties: Chairman Fahnbulleh seized the moment to reiterate the association’s mission in fostering cross-border trade between Liberia and China. He emphasized the LIBAC’s commitment to creating opportunities for Liberian entrepreneurs while strengthening economic partnerships with Chinese businesses.

Additionally, Chairman Fahnbulleh revealed plans to expand the association’s reach, disclosing that efforts are underway to establish a Liberian Business Association in the United States in the near future. This initiative aims to further bridge trade relations between Liberian entrepreneurs and global markets.

A Symbol of Brotherhood and Business:
The gathering, though casual, underscored the LIBAC’s role as more than just a trade organization – it serves as a support system for Liberians abroad. The warm reception of Mr. Bassar and his wife highlighted the association’s dedication to fostering a sense of community among Liberian businesspeople in China.

As the evening unfolded with shared stories and laughter, it became clear that the LIBAC is not only facilitating commerce but also building lasting bonds.
