    Old Road Center for Intellectual Discourse (ORCID) Ends Contested Election

    At long last, the chairmanship election ofOld Road Center for Intellectual Discourse (ORCID)

     ORCID, has taken place under a limpid weather. It was held on Sunday, August 30th, 2025.

    At the end of the poll, the election arm of ORCID  announced Mr. A. Andrew Kahlon as winner in the election, accumulating the total number of 28 votes. After the announcement was made, according to our witnesses, Mr. Kahlon, along with his supporters, were seen chatting slogans, Jehovah God has done it. Others elected are Dixon H. Hala, Ko Chene, Tumete Yuma, General Secretary, Solo Dolo, Assistant Secretary, Lawrence Gray, Social Event Organizer, Jafulu N. Kanoli, Treasurer.

    Mr. Kahlon, with green on his face, promised to work with everyone, including the losing side. Election has come and gone, but Orsi remains, he stated that ‘ If ORCID must elevate from its current state, unity is the driving force’.

    The ORCID vocal and newly chairperson, Mr. A. Andrew Kahlon, also promised the organization members of building their capacity skills through educative programming. Mr. Kahlon said he strongly believes that if the members’ capacities are built, it will lead to the easy and smooth operation of ORCID because members will perform well in whatever tasks given them.
