    SEE SPEECH DELIVERED BY MD

Today, we successfully climaxed a 3-day Board and Senior management retreat in the port city of Buchanan, Grand Bassa county.

The retreat was designed to review LPRC’ s activities for the expiring fiscal year, vet our strategic 5-year plan, review important draft policies, some of which are based on recommendations from GAC’s audits of the past fiscal years, and layout aggressive plan to ensure fuel security and overall availability and affordability of petroleum products on the Liberian market.

We then visited LPRC’s property close to the port facility to assess the environment as we work with relevant state institutions to expand the existing land in anticipation of a potential partnership for the construction of storage facity and/or petroleum refinery.

At the end of our inspection, we turned over a refurbished Outpatients Department at the government hospital in Buchanan as part of LPRC’s corporate social responsibility.

We thank Mr. Aaron Wheagar, the chairman and members of the Board of Directors, my two colleagues, Jacob Julius Smith and Eric Ceekay Sayee, managers and all employees for a successful year.

We thank the president, Joseph Nyumah Boakai for the confidence and continued support and guidance.

Our state of petroleum in the country is excellent. In essence, we have plenty petroleum products in the country to take us beyond Christmas and into the new year.
