IPNEWS: Normal Worship Service Disrupted at Winners’ Chapel Int’l Fiamah’s Branch Over Alleged Leadership Change, Financial Mismanagement Claims; Police Present to Ensure Safety.‎

‎The current tension surrounds an alleged leadership change and claims of financial mismanagement within the branch. Heavy police presence was seen at the church premises to maintain order and ensure the safety of congregants and nearby residents.‎

‎According to protesting members, many of whom previously occupied positions within the church’s administrative structure, claimed they were illegally removed from their roles by the newly assigned church pastor, a Sierra Leonean national. The group is protesting the decision and insisting that the process used to remove them was improper.

    ‎

‎The protesting members have also raised concerns about the handling of the church’s finances, with some demanding greater transparency and accountability from the current leadership regarding the management of church funds.

    ‎

‎They are demanding reinstatement to their positions as well as the presentation of a comprehensive financial report to address the allegations of mismanagement involving the church’s revenue. As of the time of this report, the pastor accused in the dispute has not publicly commented on the matter, while police officers remain stationed around the church compound as the situation continues to unfold.
