IPNEWS: The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has become aware of information circulating online alleging that its database has been hacked. The Authority wishes to categorically state that this information is false.

The LRA confirms that all its digital systems remain fully intact and secure, and that there has been no breach of the Authority’s database, and no taxpayers’ information has been compromised in any way.

The LRA operates with robust cybersecurity protocols and is supported by an experienced and highly capable Information Technology team that continuously monitors, safeguards, and strengthens all revenue management systems. These measures ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data entrusted to the Authority.

The LRA remains committed to transparency, data protection, and public trust. Taxpayers and stakeholders are assured that the Authority’s systems are functioning normally and securely, and there is no cause for concern.

The public is encouraged to rely on official LRA communication channels for accurate and verified information.
