IPNEWS: The Office of the County Superintendent on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, received a courtesy visit from a high-level delegation of Golden Veroleum Liberia Inc. (GVL), headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Johannes Handojo, at the Superintendent’s Office in Greenville, Sinoe County.

The meeting focused on key development initiatives, including the proposed reopening of major alleys in Greenville City and the rehabilitation of primary roads within the city and surrounding communities. These interventions are intended to improve accessibility, strengthen infrastructure, and promote sustainable development across the county.

Speaking during the engagement, the County Superintendent, Hon. Slewion, emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration, constructive dialogue, and mutual understanding between Golden Veroleum Liberia and the local government. He noted that such partnerships are vital to ensuring that development initiatives align with the needs and aspirations of the people of Sinoe County and Liberia at large.

Hon. Slewion further stressed that improved road networks will significantly enhance economic activities, ease transportation challenges, and improve access to basic social services for residents.

In response, GVL’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Johannes Handojo, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to the development of its host communities. He expressed GVL’s readiness to support initiatives that will enhance the social and economic well-being of residents in its areas of operation, in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility objectives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both the County Administration and the management of Golden Veroleum Liberia agreed to work closely to advance the discussed initiatives, reflecting a shared commitment to infrastructure development and community advancement in Sinoe County.
