—-confers degrees on all 265 graduates today
IPNEWS: The Most Rev. Andrew J. Karnley, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Cape Palmas, delivered a strong message of integrity and moral leadership during Tubman University’s 12th Baccalaureate Service held on Sunday, November 23. This event honored 265 graduates of the Class of 2025.
In his homily, Bishop Karnley reminded graduates that true success is based on character. “The ultimate measure of a person is seen not in moments of comfort, but in moments of challenge,” he said. He urged the class to stay principled and brave when facing life’s tests.

He encouraged the graduates to use their education to help others and warned them against misusing social media. “Whatever you post reflects who you are. Let your online presence speak of truth, respect, and dignity,” he added.
Closing the ceremony, Dr. Olu Q. Menjay, President of Tubman University, praised Bishop Karnley for his humility and service. “I encourage our students to follow Bishop Karnley’s example,” Dr. Menjay said. “He once served as administrator of the Archdiocese of Monrovia Secretariat to the late Archbishop Michael Kpakala Francis, and today he stands as a model of integrity, leadership, and faith.”

The 12th Baccalaureate Service is one part of the graduation activities for Tubman University as the school gets ready to confer degrees on all 265 graduates tomorrow, November 24.
