The Association of Liberian Journalists in the Americas (ALJA) extends its profound appreciation to Liberia’s Minister of Finance,  Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan, for the expeditious fulfillment of his pledged contribution to the ALJA Media Fund Drive.

Minister Ngafuan’s timely action demonstrates exceptional commitment and integrity. His gesture is particularly noteworthy and unprecedented, as several current and former Liberian government officials have made similar pledges to ALJA that remain outstanding.

ALJA lauds Minister Ngafuan’s example of accountability and goodwill, which reflects a genuine appreciation for the Association’s mission to promote ethical journalism, strengthen media capacity, and contribute to national development.
