    Unity Party Bomi Chapter Begins Preparations for 2025 Homecoming Fundraiser

    IPNEWS: The Unity Party (UP) Bomi County Chapter has officially begun preparations for its 2025 Homecoming Fundraiser, scheduled to take place on December 6, 2025. The announcement was made in a press release issued by the County Chapter on Tuesday.

    According to the release, the County Leadership has constituted several subcommittees to lead planning, coordination, mobilization, and outreach efforts ahead of the major political and community event.

    Former House Speaker Hon. J. Alex Tyler, along with Hon. Samuel F. Browne, Hon. Amos A. Fully, Hon. Thomas M. Parker, Hon. Mannah Bishop Johnson, Hon. Edwina Boimah, and Marfa Folley, will serve on the Advisory Committee, providing guidance and oversight.

    Ambassador R. Van Rose has been named Chair of the Secretariat and Program Committee, with James Watkins, Secretary General of UP–Bomi County, serving as Co-Chair.

    The Finance Committee will be led by Bomi County Superintendent Miatta Dorley as Chair, supported by Fred Williams as Co-Chair.

    For mobilization efforts, Representative Obediah Varney heads the Mobilization Committee, with David Vesselle assisting as Co-Chair. The Publicity and Outreach Committee will be chaired by Sheku J. Cole, with Johnson Mark as Co-Chair.

    Hon. Sirleaf Tyler and Mohammed Sheriff have been appointed Chair and Co-Chair respectively of the Transportation and Logistics Committee, while the Welfare Committee will be led by Miatta Monger, with Miatta Sayeh serving as Co-Chair.

    The release was signed by Hon. Sekou A. M. Dukuly, Unity Party Fundraising Campaign Chair for the Bomi County Chapter.
