    IPNEWS: The National Elections Commission (NEC) has officially launched the final phase of the Electoral Reform Consultation in Voinjama, with stakeholders and citizens praising their inclusion in the process.

    The consultation brings together participants from a wide range of sectors, including civil society, pro-democracy groups, youth and women’s organizations, traditional leaders, security agencies, and local residents.

    During the opening session on Monday, 17 November 2025, participants commended the Government of Liberia, the NEC, UNDP-Liberia, and the European Union for ensuring broad public participation in reviewing and proposing amendments to Liberia’s election law.

    Meanwhile, NEC Executive Director and Head of Secretariat, Mr. Anthony K. Sengbe, has been conducting public outreach through community
