IPNEWS: The Patriotic Entrepreneurs of Liberia (PATEL), through its president Dominic Nimely, has accused the country’s two leading GSM companies—Orange Liberia and Lonestar Cell MTN—of allegedly exploiting Liberian businesses and engaging in what he described as “419” fraudulent practices.

According to Nimely, the telecommunications companies have been deducting credits from customers’ accounts without providing reliable services, an act he characterized as systematic economic robbery.

The PATEL president is calling for a transparent investigation into the companies’ billing systems, service delivery standards, and overall business practices

Nimely further warned that PATEL is prepared to organize a peaceful street protest if the companies fail to address the concerns of Liberian consumers and take steps to improve their services.
