IPNEWS: The National Road Fund (NRF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MOCI) closes phase one (1) of the road users awareness campaign on October 25, 2025 in Grand Bassa County.
Speaking at the closure of the road users awareness campaign phase one (1) on Saturday October 25, 2025 in Grand Bassa County,Minister Dagoseh emphasized the importance of road safety and maintenance in Liberia.
According Dagoseh roads are crucial for economic activities, connecting farmers to markets, traders to buyers, students to schools, and families to opportunities.
The Commerce Minister emphasized that when roads are preserved through awareness and shared responsibility, the benefits extend throughout the economy, stimulating trade attracting investment and advancing Liberia’s journey toward sustainable economic growth and development.
However, the event aims to educate and engage all road users, including drivers, pedestrians, transport operators, MSMEs, and community dwellers, on the importance of adhering to road safety rules and maintenance procedures.
Madam Dagoseh encouraged all the Citizens of Grand Bassa County its environs to work together to ensure that the investment made in road construction and maintenance delivered lasting economic and social benefits for our people.
The Minister highlights the importance of safe driving practices, respect for traffic laws, and community vigilance in preserving roads and protecting lives.
The event encourages community involvement in promoting road safety and maintenance, recognizing that roads are a shared responsibility.
However, Minister Dagoseh reaffirms the commitment of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry working with the National Road Fund, local authorities and communities to promote road user discipline, infrastructure preservation and safety awareness.
Minister Dagoseh commended the National Road Fund headed by Madam Joceta Neufville Wanto for the initiatives and encouraged every Liberian to support the campaign wholeheartedly, urging everyone to work together to keep the road safe.
