IPNEWS: The Liberian Senate has approved and concurred with the House of Representatives on a major road concession agreement between the Government of Liberia and Parvifort AL Association, Inc. and Parvifort (S.L), Ltd. The agreement, operating under a Public-Private Partnership and Build-Operate-Transfer arrangement, covers the construction, upgrading, and maintenance of approximately 313 kilometers of road corridors in the Western and Northern regions of Liberia over a five-year period.
The total project cost is estimated at USD 363.9 million, with the Liberian government contributing 40%—including USD 46 million from the Road Fund and the remaining through the national budget. The concessionaire will fund the remaining 60% through shareholder investment and borrowing. The concession is valid for 25 years, during which the concessionaire will operate the toll system before transferring ownership back to the government.

St. Paul Bridge–Klay (38 km, four lanes)
Klay–Bo Waterside (79 km, four lanes)
Klay–Tubmanburg (22 km, two lanes)
Madina–Robertsport (30 km, two lanes)
Voinjama–Mendikorma (86 km, two lanes)
Construction completion timelines range between 2028 and 2030, depending on the corridor.
