Liberia cultural display in Osaka, Japan, especially the Liberian Pavilion has made another millstone history by becoming the first and only African Pavilion to host the Governor of Osaka Prefecture, Mr. Hirofumi Yoshimura, and his distinguished delegation.

During the visit, Queen Juli Endee, Commissioner General of the Liberia Pavilion, presented a special gift to Governor Yoshimura on behalf of His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia. Additionally, the Liberian Ambassador to Japan presented a gift to the Governor’s entourage on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti, while extending a formal invitation to the Governor to visit the Republic of Liberia.
Governor Yoshimura was welcomed by Liberian Ambassador Edward Wade Appleton and Commissioner General Queen Juli Endee.

On behalf of Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Queen Endee presented a special gift to Governor Yoshimura. Ambassador Appleton also presented gifts to the rest of the delegation.
Commissioner General Endee provided the delegation with a presentation on Liberia’s investment sectors and opportunities.
Queen Endee performed with the Jellyfish Band to further showcase Liberian culture.
n his remarks, Governor Yoshimura expressed appreciation for the hospitality and stated his intention to visit Liberia in the near future
Liberia is among 160 countries participating in the World Expo 2025, which runs from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The country has used its participation to showcase its culture and economic potential to the world. The Liberian pavilion is promoting investment in its economy through showcasing its natural resources, agriculture, and tourism sectors.

Liberia was selected as the only country to host the International Women’s Forum at the Women’s Pavilion in August 2025, a significant diplomatic achievement led by Ambassador Endee.
Liberia’s exhibition aligns with the Expo 2025 theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and focuses on the sub-theme “Saving Lives”
