In a symbolic gesture of goodwill and strengthened bilateral ties, former U.S. President Donald J. Trump has presented a special gift to Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., delivered through the Liberian Ambassador to the United States and received officially via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia.
The presentation took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, following President Boakai’s recent high-level engagement with President Trump at the White House during the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit.
