    Liberia: NAT’L LOTTERIES SECURES 500 JOBS FOR LIBERIANS

    –As Blue Star Hi-Tech Liberia Limited wins GOL Int’l bid

    IPNEWS: In the quest to provide job opportunities for Liberians, Blue Star Hi-Tech Liberia Limited, a prominent lottery operator, has won the National Lottery Authority (NLA) International Competitive Bid to run 5/90 Lotto Game in Liberia.

    During the signing and awarding of contract ceremony in Monrovia Thursday, February 20, 2025, Blue Star Hi-Tech Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Clement Adu Sarpong said the project is expected to employ more than five hundred Liberians across the country.

    5/90 balls lotto is a machine umbers (Consolation Balls) which outcomes are drawn from the first five balls, which gives one an opportunity to win only in the Daily Bet.

    Mr. Sarpong lauded the Government of Liberia for selecting his company to operate lotto game in Liberia and assured that his company strongly considers transparency, accountability and integrity principles.

    In his overview statement, NLA Director General, Reginald Kpan Nagbe disclosed that the project will raise significant revenues to fully support the national budget and improve the Lottery Industry.

    Director General Nagbe appreciated the President, Vice President and Board of Directors for fully supporting his administration for the implementation of the 5/90 lotto game which he said has elevated NLA to the standard of its counterparts in the subregion.

    Receiving the signed and approved copies of the agreement between the government of Liberia and Blue Star Hi-Tech Liberia Limited, NLA’s Board Chairman, Mr. Prince Menkalo Gbieu stressed the importance of lotto game noting, its revenue generation and employment components align with government ARREST Agenda.

    Mr. Gbieu, also Chief of Staff to VP Jeremiah Kpan Koung, said the VP is pleased with the high-level transparent and integrity manner through which the international competitive bidding process was carryout before awarding Blue Star Hi-Tech the contract to operate the 5/90 balls lotto game in the country.
