IPNEWS: President Joseph Nyuma Boakai speaking today, Saturday, December 21, 2024 on Day 1 of his visit to Lofa County, announced the holding of a Post-Conflict Infrastructure Conference which is expected to be held next year.

According to the Liberian Leader, the Conference will, amongst many things, address the structural soundness of public buildings and road related portfolios aimed at improving the Infrastructural Sector of Liberia.

“These roads will not be the same again”, President Boakai stressed while addressing cross-sections of citizens in Foya, Lofa County.

President Boakai also expressed optimism of seeing the entire Ganta to Harper Road Corridor and other parts of the country paved with asphalt, a move pundits believe will mark a significant bolster for trade and commerce.

In a related development, the Ministry of Public Works is vigorously supervising the rehabilitation of primary, secondary and feeder roads in the county, as well as the creation of many access roads in Voinjama, Foya, Barkedou, Samuodu, Sakonedu, amongst others.

Meanwhile, the Team of engineers working along the Foya to Worsonga Road completed the approximately 10 kilometers stretch that connects the main Foya City to Worsonga.
