    ‘Gift in the SEASON’,  MELVIN GEORGE PONGAY, Gives 200 Kids BACK-TO- SCHOOL items

    A SON OF DISTRICT NO 7, ROCKY HILLS Ducor  Community, Melvin G. Pongay has Donated several back-to0-scool items including  Copy Books, Pens AND Pencils to over  200 School-going Kids in his community

    Pongay described his personal back-to-school gift, as his desire to encourage younger children in the community to persuade education as the best option for a brighter future.

    Pongay stress  the need for children to be priorities within their respective communities and society as they look forward to older generation to serve as lighten path in sustaining a better and reliable feature.

    He noted that the gesture is just his widow’s might to assist parents who have the desire to educate their children without any oltical intend.

    Mr. Melvin Pongay, a Son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Sangaba Pongay (deceased) from Lofa County where amongst the first family to settle in the Ducor rocky hills community now District # 7 Montserrado County,   where  he -Melvin George. Pongay was born and raised.

    Melvin Pongay  attained his Secondary education from the Wells Hairston high school and tertiary education from the University Of Liberia College Of Engineering where he obtained a Degree in Geology coupled with several International Professional Certificates,

    Pongay has always been an astute advocate for children education. His dream is to ensure that the children whom are perceived as feature leaders must receive the needed support to enable them realize their dream.

    He has been a strong educational advocate throughout his life, this is why he has made it his binding duty to assist parents in achieving their dreams for making their children productive future leaders.

    He further call on residents of the Ducor Rocky community who are resolved to assist in the educational drive of children of the community and society at large to join the revolution of givin back to kids for a brighter future of the Rocky Hill community

    Additionally, Pongay mentioned that the back-to-school initiative is the first of its kind in the community and urge others to emulate his example in a positive way void of politics.

    ?I assure all parents that his gesture will go beyond the distribution of book in the near feature but will rather focus and to support other key educational activities across the community and district.” Mr. Melvin Pongay stated.

    A senior Elder of the Rocky Hill Community Saah Youda, lauded Mr. Pongay for the initiative and reflected on the passion and dedication of Mr. Pongay over the years which continued to propel the admiration amongst both Elders of the community and his peers.
