    Konbah Leadership Academy Launches New Academy Year

    -donates school bags to several students in Dixville

    In a heartwarming display of community solidarity and generosity, the Konbah Leadership Academy has successfully launched its 2025/2026 academic year with a backpacks and school supplies drive.

    The initiative, which provided essential materials to students, is spearheaded by the Academy’s leadership with support from its partners and donors.

     The distributions of the backpacks filled with school supplies was donated to registered students, thus preparing them for enrollment.

    The distribution, which included both new and returning students, took place on the school campus in Dixville, with school-going children and parents gracing the occasion.

    Making brief remarks following the donation, the Chief Executive Officer, Madam Madia K. Moore expressed deep gratitude to the donors whose contributions made the backpacks and school supplies drive possible.

    “Your investment in our students’ education has made a lasting impact. Thanks to your generosity, our students are beginning the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed,” she said.  

    For his part, the proprietor of the school, Rev. Arthur N. Gbotoe expressed believe that every child deserves a fair start, adding that the initiative has brought the belief to reality.

    Rev. Gbotoe used the occasion to recognize staffers for their tireless efforts in preparing and distributing supplies among the future leaders of the country.

    He highlighted the dedication in ensuring smooth execution of the initiative, pointing out the academy’s cultural service and care to the young generation.

    With continued support from our donors and partners, he said, the academy will expand its impact and commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

    Also commenting, the Co-chair of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Madam Comfort Kanneh, commended the vision bearer of the school for the donation.

    ‘We are grateful to God, to Konbah Leadership Academy’s CEO and proprietor for the incredible support to our children academic journey.”

    Some parents who spoke at the distribution ceremony described the drive as not only a logistical success, but also a powerful symbol of the Academy’s mission to support families facing economic challenges in the country.

    The Konbah Leadership Academy was established in 2022 and officially opened in 2023/2024.

    Since its establishment, the institution has quickly become a beacon of educational hope in the community, propelled by a recent initiative that reinforced its commitment to inclusive education and community empowerment. As the academic year begins, the school stands as a testament to the pursuit of unity among community members in the quest for educational advancement.
