who wants to Kill Hon. Yekeh Kolubah ?

Montserrado County District #10 Representative, Hon. Yekeh Kolubah, has accused the administration of President Joseph Boakai of allegedly plotting to take his life — a claim he likened to threats he says were made against him during the previous government.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the outspoken opposition lawmaker said he believes he is being targeted because of his persistent criticism of the presidency and senior government officials.

“The same way the past government wanted to kill me, this government also wants to kill me,” Kolubah alleged

Hon. Kolubah has long been one of Liberia’s most combative and controversial political figures. A former army officer, he gained national attention for his fierce opposition to the administration of ex-President George Weah, frequently accusing government officials of corruption and abuse of power. During the Weah era, Kolubah reported multiple threats against his life and clashed with the Liberia National Police over protests and public statements deemed inflammatory by the government.

He has also been criticized for his use of strong and, at times, provocative language on national issues — a style that has won him both staunch supporters and fierce detractors.

Kolubah’s latest accusation comes amid increasing political friction between the opposition bloc and the Unity Party-led administration, less than a year into President Boakai’s term. By: Romeo USayee , Contact: 0888634016
