    — Police IG Coleman Holds Secret Meeting With Self-Styled Majority Bloc Leadership To Indict Embattled Speaker Koffa

IPNEWS: Ever since rumors spread about a plan been hatched to Indict Speaker Fonati Koffa prior to his return to Liberia from the United States in early January 2025.

The plan according to sources were being hatched by key members of the Boakai’s Government loyalist including the ‘self styled Majority Bloc speaker Richard Koon’, including others.

Later reports emerged of an assignation plot to eliminate Speaker Koffa with the bringing into the country men from Bukina Fasso to implement the plan at the just ended Decoration day that led to Speak koffa fleeding for his life into the United States.

Now, HOTT FM is reporting that the Inspector-General of the Liberia National Police, Col. Gregory Coleman today March 31st, attended a secret meeting with the leadership of the Self-Styled Majority Bloc headed by Representative Richard Nagbe Koon of the House of Representatives.

According to HOTT FM, during the meeting, the purported Speaker Koon, and other members of the majority Bloc who were in the gathering pleaded with Col. Coleman to indict Speaker, Cllr. Jonathan F. Koffa over the December 18 fire outbreak that destroyed parts of the Capitol Building.

it remain s unclear as to the final decision of IG Coleman to grant the Majority Bloc’s request ahead of the much anticipated ruling by the Supreme Court into a Bill of Information hearing held March 24,2025.
