IPNEWS: Superintendent Karyou Johnson held his first acquaintance meeting with all Line Ministries, Agencies, Commissions, and Corporations functioning in Grand Bassa County, emphasizing the importance of collective action for the countyโs development.
During the meeting, Hon. Johnson assured the agencies that his administration is committed to ensuring the full implementation of the Governmentโs ARREST AGENDA FOR INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT. He stressed that the success of this agenda requires active participation from all government agencies operating in the county.
Hon. Johnson highlighted key priorities, including agricultural development, educational programs, labor-related initiatives, and improvements to the health system. He also underscored the role of the Joint Security in maintaining order and sanity within the county.
The Superintendent was particularly emphatic on the enforcement of laws, especially concerning land management and the prosecution of violators of the Land Rights Act. He warned against other detrimental practices in the county, calling for swift action.
“It is time to tighten up your belts for the development and collective transformation of the county in line with the law,” said Hon. Johnson.
The meeting was attended by the County Council Chairperson and members, marking an important step toward collaboration between the county administration and government agencies in advancing Grand Bassaโs development agenda.
